Sleeping Clinic
Choosing a new mattressIt is common place to select or be advised on a firmer mattress as a suitable surface to sleep on.This however is a misconception driven by a general consumer "mis understanding" that a harder, firmer system will provide better postural or back care and last longer.

Quick home check: Adopt a natural foetal position, normally the opposite side to your dominant side on your current mattress without a pillow. If you have a gap of 6cm or more between your head and mattress and feel your head dropping onto the surface then it is too firm. To soft or collapsed if your head is being raised.
Constantly adjusting sleeping positions (toss n turn), pillow hugging, upper body aches and pains, lower back pain, over heating, heavy breathing, snoring, tired and under slept are common factors of incorrectly profiled products. The two mattresses in our range have a sleeping profile to ensure you can select the right one.
